A friend of mine is buying an '05 Civic SI. The Honda dealer (West Newton Honda) was in open arms yesterday. We drove it in the snow, and I can say that it's predictable in the snow, as far as the clean road; I'll have to assume it's nice. They were quite pleasant to deal with also, no hard selling BS.

Does anyone around here no anything about this series of Civics? He wants to do some mods, and my Honda experience is related to just S2000's. Seems like parts are much cheaper for Civics. He's looking at a Comptech Header, Ice Box, and Supersprint Exhaust. He's also getting the factory performance suspension and wheels. It seems like the dealer just gets the wheels and puts whatever tires on them, so hopefully he'll have a choice on tires?

Seems like a fine car for under 20K. The dealer has an '04 Blue S2000 that has been sitting since the summer. I bet someone can snag that for a song. Has the ugly new wing on it though.
