Just Curious what everyones goals are for 2011. Can be car related or just anything. Anyone looking to change the world here?

My goals are to get the S2000 to the drag strip jsut once to see what its got in it. Id like to do low 14's with it. Id be happy there. Also car related id like to get the supra to the track a few times and hit 11's on it with the stock turbos, that would be pretty cool.

In other news id also like to move out of my mothers house for good and get a solid place to move into with the girlfriend haha

And finally my last 2011 goal is to create some sort of business either online or not for myself for some extra income, ive been pondering thoughts and ideas and researching for the past year on it, and have come up with a few ideas but im too nervous to pull the trigger and spend the initial money to invest in starting up something.

 

Sounds like you have a lot on your plate.

To be debt free, and its very close to reality

 

Let's see, for 2011:
- S2000: Increase fun to drive factor... more boost, gears, something.
- S2000: Install new component speakers
- Element: re-finish rims (backward re-finishing project of my old Enkei rims)
- Buy a gear bicycle, one gear is fun but not all of the time.
- Refinish both of my bathrooms (new tile, new toilets, paint)
- Repaint the livingroom
- Grow the Manchester Linux Users group membership

 

I'm going the total opposite way from that....


I think at this point, my only goal is to learn to be a good parent. Rather vague, and I don't really expect othrewise, but that's about all I'm doing for goals.

 

Don't worry too much about the parenting part yet. First you must master burping (the baby, not you), feeding, changing diapers, (#1 & #2) bathing and holding a screaming baby, and you're good to go for a few months.

I'm sure you'll do fine! The big event is soon, isn't it?

 

Due date is Dec 4th, so yes! Soon enough.
