I'm tempted to buy stocks, but then again there's that "don't catch a falling knife" mantra. Anyone buying right now.. What are your picks?

I'm thinking purchasing some Goldman Sachs (GS) shares. Neel Kashkari will be heading up the 700 billion bail out and he's also a former Goldman Banker. Not that there would be any preferential treatment, but you can't help but wonder if it's like an ol'boys club over there in banking land.

Also thinking about Bank of America (BAC) even though I hate them and their big bank mentality. I think they'll pull through this plus they have a dividend (50-60 cents per share or something).
