With the overwhelming response to all that have participated in donating their own personal money to Bill and Steve, I thank you!!!!

I will round up some items at home.

Not too silly of a question Thomas

The local S2k member down in Louisiana has been going to the shelters almost everyday for the past two weeks. I am sending her the box of good directly. And she will be giving them to the people in the shelter. She has already been doing this on her own. Giving these people as much as she can everyday. You all know how small the S is. But she has loaded up her car and brings these people any items she can get her hands on. I just felt that I could send her items as well, just to help out.

Glenn,

Can you ask if they need some things to keep little kids busy? Maybe some books, puzzles, crayons, etc.?

All of these items are great!

They could use anything! Some of the items the local member down there has been bringing to the shelters were magazines, little toys, make-up for the girls, Portable CD Players for some of the boys, and the list goes on.

Thanks all!

hey Glenn

I did some coloring book, crayon and story book shopping at lunch. You'll be at Bill's Sunday to pick up the items?

Is your friend collecting any articles of clothing?

I have a few articles of baby girl/little girl clothing at our house that the granddaughter has outgrown. I can include that as well.

I'm personally sending a whole bunch of clothes. Linda is also getting a box ready to go as well! There is nothing that will be turned down Clothes, games, toys, make-up, toiletries, books, magazines, pillows, blankets, anything you can think of that you have now. I'm sure there is someone that could use it down there.

Thanks!

Bump

If anyone is looking to spend like $20.00 or $30.00 for the "care packages" Glenn is sending out, check out your local Job Lot, Dollar Store or even a Building 19.

They have stuff kids like. Nail polish with sparkle stuff in it, make up, combs, travel size shampoos, etc. Story books, small toys, socks for all ages. You might want to stay away from the toys with small parts, but you'd might be surprised what $20.00 will get you in those places.

I browse/shop at those places often, since Rick spent the rest of our money on mods for the "S"

Excellent idea Lainey!

Linda dropped off two boxes today, I just filled up two other boxes also. I may have another one coming before the weekend is over
