Default Anyone need tints?

Called up Mr. Tints in Springfield, MA and they said for cars with 2 windows it's 75 dollars. For 4 doors + rear windshield it's 130.00. Illegal tints can only be paid in cash. I believe 35% is the legal limit, but this place goes to 20% for all you law breakers. =]

This is a good deal but does anyone else know cheaper? (I can't do it myself either).

I'd be interested in tinting my dd (Subaru outback), just the back though. My daughter is always complaining.

You know if he's had any trouble with the cops? I'm probably going 20% on the rear glass, but I wasn't sure if i should do 30% or 20% on the sides.

He knows there's a possibility of getting pulled for it. It didn't stop him though. So far he hasn't had any issues. BUT, I can't say that he never will. You also have to worry about inspection. I think it's a saftey check. I don't plan on going below 30%.

I have had 4 cars tinted by this place. They did an awful job on my S2000, but have done a good work on my other cars.

For the S2000, I went to a higher end place and got their top tier window tint film. It really is much better and worth the coin. It keeps out so much heat it's unbelievable. Driving in the hot sun is no bother, and the car stays cool when it's parked. I got my two windows redone, softtop, and hardtop done for $180. That included removing the stuff Mr. Tint put on.

I used B&G window tinting in Springfield.

Was the s2000 different in anyway that they did an awful job on it?

The soft top window is a PITA to get to. I think I got a helper guy that day too. The guy who's been working there for a while does good work, but I'm not sure how you guarantee who does the work. When you bring a group in, they use both garage bays and bring help.
