Just thought I would put this up just in case anyone was planning on getting a VAFC this spring/summer and wanted to save a few $. My VAFC is for sale.

I'm replacing it with the Greddy e-manage so I can run a smaller pulley and larger injectors with my Vortech supercharger. Nothing is wrong with the unit. It served me well.

I have the box, the bracket, english manual(print outs), and japanese manual that came with it. It was only used for a few months and then my car was put away for the winter.

I don't have a date yet as to when it will come off the car. Probably in April. I don't think it will be off in time for someone to use for the NE dyno day since the weather will probably stay crappy for a while longer, delaying my S2000 from leaving it's slumber in a heated garage. I have a friend who could install it for you if you wanted to pick it up I could set you up with him or you could just pick it up from me and deal with it yourself or I could also ship it if you are further away.

I would also consider selling it with my center console for an extra $50. The VAFC and console with cut out can be seen in this picture:


I'm looking to get $175 for it($225 with the console). I'll leave this post up for a while, then I will post in the For Sale forum and then put it up on eBay.

a few months back i bough Derrick's for $330.00 with the harness

you shouldn't have any problems selling it at that price (i would think you could sell the whole thing for at least $300.00)

What kind of hp gains can I expect with the VAFC on a bone stock S2000??

No it doesn't come with a harness. Since my Vortech control box already taps the ECU wires, and since I don't have to worry about the dealer seeing my mods(kinda hard to hide a supercharger!) I just tapped right into my ECU wires.

RPM Addiction:
The hp gain all depends on the car, the tuner, and the time spent tuning it. As well as other aftermarket modifications. Anyone can guess at the power gain, but it will vary with every car/setup.

Sheesh. Makes me wish I waited to buy mine.

Mine will go into my car very soon. It will get shoved under the dash somewhere never to be seen except for tuning.
