Not as a rule. My gas is budgeted with the weekly amount withdrawn from the ATM, but sometimes the debit card gets called into service.

When we are on a road trip, it's all on the CC to make things easier, especially at the pay before you pump gas stations.

PS Local gas is purchased at a local station, where they still pump it, and they bring me any change due.

Not me if I get off my duff go into the station and pay cash i get a 4 cent discount per gallon. Guess what I do

that would be 6 cents back from the credit card or 4 cents for cash...
