Anyone use Smooth-Cut?
Hi guys,
There's been some chatter on my guitar web sites recently about taking satin-finished guitars and transforming them into a gloss finish. An automotive polish called Smooth-Cut is highly recommended, and I was wondering if anyone's used this 2000-grit polish on their car? I'm thinking this summer it might be time for Nebuchadnezzar to get a full treatment as I've got light swirl marks in a few places.

What do you think? FYI, here's the thread on the acoustic guitar forum where I got wind of this: http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/forums/...ad.php?t=116828
By the way, anyone want to lend me their Porter Cable so I can use it on one of my guitars?

Nah, haven't tried that Doug. Maybe I'll do that.
And, JT, really... where *is* that guy? I remember watching him take a high speed rotary buffer to his yellow S -- it made me cringe. He was a brave soul!
