hmm might be doing this instead of buying ap2 tails. you can find ap2 tails on ebay for about 15 each too incase anyone brakes theres.

These things do NOT want to come apart nicely. They are back in the oven softening up for the 3rd time now!

What temp are you using and how long?

225-235 and 20 minutes a time. The glue gets soft but there are no good pry spots. That is the real problem.

I am trying to work one of the corners free and break the bead around the entire lens at the moment.

If you can't break the bead all at once, break a corner and then wedge it with something while you attack another corner. Otherwise the first corner you break will re seal before you can get the next done.

I usually only heat headlights for 10-15 minutes and pop them one shot using this wedge method.

Got it open and got the corner reflector out. Now for the fun part. Taping, sanding, and painting
