Mell indicated that the turnout looked pretty low but based on the emails I have that the event is still going forward. More runs for me then.

 

Tom, you are referring to the White Mountain Chapter BMWCCA event which is an actual autocross competition. THe one I was referring to is a Test and Tune session by the Boston Chapter where I'll probably get 40-50 runs...

You are correct, I was referring to the WMC event. Ooops. I will have to find the thread for the WMC event.

 

I would have sworn (a lot) that there was an existing thread for the October 6 WMC autocross event but I can't find it so rather than start a new thread I will continue to use this one. This is the last event of the season and because of the NY S2000 event and the Bavarian Autosport show and shine it should have relatively low attendance.

Tom ,I will be at NHIS Sunday also.As far as I know the Z Club is going to be there with maybe a few 350z .I want to see how the Z does sense they use the s2000 as a comparason.I was a little upset when I went to Nissan to check one out.The salesman was great but all the lit they have comparing the Z to the S was false .Just a example they say the Z 1/4 mile is 14.57 and they say the S is 15.5.I laughed at the salesman and he didn't understand .I told him to look out the window that I own an S and have run a 14.4 with it spinning the tires to the 60ft mark.Then they go on saying the Z suspension is better because it is made of aluminum and ours is steel.my thought is the Z already weighs over 3000lb good thing they used aluminum .And after talking to the sales man and hearing how the Z will out perform my S they wont even let you test drive one.Why would I want to buy something that they say is better but you cant try to compare.
