I hear there is a shop here in Fall River (C&D performance) with a DynoJet. Supposedly he only charges $50 an hour with A/F readings. I have heard this from several people in the city. I am going to investigate and if there is enough interest, maybe we can have a second dyno day in my neck of the woods. I know my VAFC needs to be re-tuned after what happened Friday night

After seeing how easy it was to tune I think i'm going to pick up a vafc soon too.
How hard are they to install? Everyone seems to have a different custom mounting point.
How do you avoid what happened to Ben? I'm glad we got him to do a couple runs.

Thanks,
-Ed

Don't worry. You'll be fine. Just don't be stupid like me in trying to use someone else's setting. Every engine is different, not to mention the various combinations of other mods.

How hard are they to install?
Not hard, especially if you get the harness as well (~$140).
There's a GB for $285 shipped for the v-afc unit.
Hurry...he only has 2 at this price. Here
Good custom mounting takes some blood, sweat and a few beers.

Ideally, that should be your last mod, unless you want to dyno-tune after each mod there after to have the optimized setting.

When are you guys going to the dyno again?
I'll pick up a VAFC if I find out the group is going again (get a good deal on the tuning)

Thanks,
Ed

I am sorry that we couldn't get it to work correctly.

Though I must admit I was able to easily able to point out the places where we needed to tune! Car just didn't pull correctly and even JUMPED AROUND on the dyno.

Though your car we couldn't even idle correctly. Let us know how the new harness does.

If you need initial settings we can let you know them.
