Whew! We made it home from Fall Colors. Damn, I thought we would never get through Waterbury. Glad we made the trip. It was good to see some familiar faces - Frank, Pinky, Glenn, Dan - even if we didn't get a chance to chat with everyone. We met a couple of new NE people too - Steve and S2Kchik (sorry I forget your name) it was nice talking to you.
A couple of notes:
Steve and Dan - great horns.
Steve - LOVED the supercharger! and such a bargain

What a weekend... I am still so tired and sore... I'm actually glad events like this only happen once a year. But ask this question again in two months

Did I see/meet you guys either!?! If I did I didn't put 2 and 2 together. I too was way out there. I had been drinking every night since tuesday and it was taking its toll. The Auto-x absolutely destroyed me!!!! Though I had a great time.

Hope everybody else did. Next auto-x we will have a much better plan for getting people ready/running.

The traffic did suck on the way home Like my butt wasn't sore enough from the drive...even Amanda could barely walk by the time we got in!

It truely was a wonderful event. So awesome to see so many s2k's all together and meet so many nice people, especially my NES2KO friends Everything was handled very professionally- kudos to all involved in organizing FC

Larry, Glad you two could make it...sorry Merri and I had to jet, but we were beat, and I still had work to do at home. If it makes you feel any better, it took us 5 hours to get home from the Park. The bikes made traffic a bear and there were multiple detours along Rte. 6.


Derrick, Thanks for pointing out Merri's purse, even if it meant she had to hear some nasty comments from someone she originally thought was nice (sometimes it's just so hard to know who to trust ). She would have freaked halfway into the drive without that! I can barely tell that's a grill (I think it was the black tube with silver band that tipped me off), but that pic is WAY too small for any writing to be legible. Merri said you car looked sweet hauling ass down that hill in the park when we came upon you guys....I think you were the last in line, and also the fastest

 

Yes Derrick is FAST .... I couldn't keep up on the drive home so i had to give the wheel to Gesine.

the bad part was when Glenn calls on the radio to tell me that Gesine drives better than I then all of a sudden it hits me... She DOES drive better than me....

Just Kidding Guys..... don't know about you but I feel 100 times better after a good night's sleep in my own bed
