The balanced lunch
Rick thinks about food, a lot. He cooks, he plans meals, the whole bit. I'd have a lousy diet were it not for him.
Yesterday I had an appointment at lunch time, after which I was going home, around 2:00. He had offered to mix up some tuna, or leave something in the refrigerator for my lunch. He didn't know if he was going to have to go back to work after picking me up, and I guess he didn't want me to starve to death. I thanked him and told him I could make something (though I would be slightly under the influence of drugs).
So, what did I have for lunch?
Well, since it was 2:00 PM, I didn't want to eat a "real lunch." So I had a handful of chips, a few M & M's and a Hoodsie cup.
Pathetic.
On the plus side we went to a local restaurant for supper. We had some kick A$$ bread with the olive oil for dipping, a salad and a pizza with spinich, feta and garlic. Excellent.
So, who else eats a balanced lunch like I had yesterday?
