I thought so too, but I'm glad you said it and I didn't. Folks might think me cynical.

I do. I love walmart.

I hate hoards of self centered idiots who camp out over night and trample a man to death to save a few measily bucks.
walmart and every other BF company should have a police detail or in the very least security to prevent this

Forget a police detail, they need a machine gun nest to defend against the wierdos that go shopping on black friday. The guy in that news interview said after the crowd trampled the guy to death, the police came and tried to give him first aid / cpr. The crowd still wouldn't subside and was knocking the cops back as they tried to help.

All to save a buck.

i only went to one BF deal with JT and Glenn and it did get crazy just before the place opened - IF these people knew a cop was there OR if the store gave out tickets it would be a lot less crazy

I used to manage a tech hifi.
Our super sale day was George Washington's birthday.
When I was in the Framingham store, we had a detail of 3 uniformed cops in the store and a out of uniform mass. statie as door gorilla.
In Cambridge, I had 2 uniformed detail all day.

Walmart was being too damn cheap to pay for the detail cops they needed to control the situation.
I hope the family of the worker bangs 'em for 50 mil in a lawsuit.

Shoot to kill orders should be given as part of the ops plan for the detail!
