Rick needs some canvas glue. Got any of that?

He's got an area of the top that needs to be glued. Not leaking, but a local top installer told him to get canvas or tent glue.

I think we will have the next glue meet!!!! After Bill's of course.
I'm sure West Marine will have that. If you don't live near one, I do. I'm going tomorrow night to look for something. Want me to see what they have?

I might be available. If I'm not going out for chicken wings or going out with stalker, I'll drop by.

That Dap stuff seemed to work pretty well too. Did everything you glued with it fall off the next day?

Also... here is a link to an example of what I have in my mind for a project car.

Corvettes made with Chevy parts break down before you're done assembling them. If I make it out of Honda parts, it'll live forever!

Good. I can use the help/motivation.

The Dap stuff worked ok, BUT, it does not seem to really set up. the next day, I was still able to seperate the pieces. This seems like it might even be an advantage as one can start over again if the pieces are misaligned. But I'm concerned that if it never really takes a firm set, as it ages it will not hold. Plus, I'm concerned it will move around just with the normal forces of getting in and out of the car.

That Vette project looks good. How much does the chassis cost? It would be interesting to find out if the cheapest way to go is to get two donor cars. One for the body and one for the suspension.

I don't have a quote, but I'm guessing it's a big chunk of change. The place I linked includes all the c4 bits as part of the package. I found another place that offers the chassis only for ~$5500. I'd have to price out all the c4 bits separately to get a real comparison.
