I block everything... pictures, sigs, smiles, badges, banners, flags, etc. I do this because I browse this site a lot from work and it's fairly easy to sneak up on me.

I don't have a quote, but I'm guessing it's a big chunk of change. The place I linked includes all the c4 bits as part of the package. I found another place that offers the chassis only for ~$5500. I'd have to price out all the c4 bits separately to get a real comparison.

I set my setting to not show avatar and sig some years ago. Some of them are just so stupidly ridiculously long w/ multiple flash and other vid clip that you'd think they worked at TGIF and their tips depended on it.
I use Firefox to block all the ads as well. The flash ones are super annoying. Collectively it's like trying to read a book while looking up at the flashing neon signs in Times Square - it's retarded.
