I think they will still challenge the Bills for the division without Brady..
No question, Coach Bill is a wizard at building teams.

Bill can't make the plays...that's the problem.

Looks like it'll be a NY team winning the East.

The Bledsoe/Brady thing happens once in a lifetime.

Not gonna happen again in this case.

It's too bad, would have been nice to see how the team responded from
losing the Super Bowl after going 18-0...now we will never truly know.

Taking the really depressing outlook, that would be a pretty awful way to end a career.

Don't remind me.

I personally think they should start preparing for that by developing
who they have rather than getting some retired player that is not
currently in the NFL. Because they are in that situation for a reason.

I don't know much about that kind of thing, but could a torn ACL end
his career? Can it not be repaired to be like it was? If not, then regardless
if he comes back or not, the Tom Brady we know is gone.

Jeff might be able to weigh in with a more qualified opinion.
I haven't had the ACL repair yet but it's probably likely to happen in the next few weeks.
I know from other knee stuff I've had done it's never the same again.
It can be strong but not the same.

Brady's strength has always been his decision making though not his scrambling.
So he might be able to come back. He's not that old and that makes a huge difference on getting back into shape.

He still puts ALL his weight on that knee when throwing.

If he can't do that anymore, his throwing accuracy and velocity will
suffer and throws that would be threading the needle in the past will
be intercepted.
