And all proceeds of the bid should go to Dana's charity.

like sands in the hour glass so are the days of our lifes....

Ben / Jeff great points but if we are to pay for the rear diff, I think that would be dave's decision.....

there's really no need for me to post anything more in this thread until I dive Dave's car tonight. who knows 4.77s might be too agressive for me.. and if that's the case Jim will can have them otherwise we'll see..

well off to the soxs game

have fun everyone!!

Ben:
Very valid points. You too Jeff. Though yes posession is 9/10th's of the law posession has not taken place. Though work towards and ends has been taken. I will give that much up.

So if I complained loud enough first, I could force Steve to pay me a bunch of money for something that was being given away?!

Wow, I need to lurk in ALL sell threads and claim I want stuff before anyone else, then give up my claim...that way, if the deal looks really good I can come back and claim posession since I was there first. If I don't want it, I can just say I wasn't really interested. Sounds like having your cake and eating it too.

How about this...Steve accepts Dave's FREE offer to swap out the pumpkin. Knowing Steve's driving habits, he will most likely not like the short gearing of the 4.77s and want the 4.44s. WHEN that happens, Jim pays Steve half of the cost of a 4.44 gear set. Steve gets his 4.44 set for half price and Jim gets his 4.77 set for half price.

NOW nobody gets ripped off....BOTH get something for half price, not one for full price, one for half.

Bass & Pinky

Each of you Submit a bid to Glenn via PM.

The proceeds of which will go to Dana's charity.

The highest bid pays $ and wins the Gears.....

Simple as that.

Just like eBay.

d2d do you think this is fair?

Its a win-win. Someone gets the Gears, and also gets a nice tax writeoff.

Fair?

The soap opera is over! Both parties have come to a final decision.

I am to busy here at work to write more than that. The plot line will be continued later..............
