Strongly considering getting CAI for car - iike the "throaty" sound I heard w/ Dan's AEM.

AEM vs Injen vs....

any comments? What would be a fair price for a used system?

send an e-mail D2D (dave) as he just traded in his car and took out his AEM..

not too sure there is a big diffrence between Injen and AEM - but i went with an AEM and I am very happy

fair price = new = $220 to $250
used = 150 to 175

Very hard to pin the price down on a used CAI. Just not worth the hassle IMO to ask for too much. I just gave mine away for free to another well known board member. He pays for shipping. (For a total stranger, I'd sell it. )

 

I purchased a 4-IG CAI, very happy with how it turned out and I love the sound. Good increase in hp, however the car is still a little laggy when the outside temps get above 90 degrees for a couple days.
