I had a car payment once and I hated it, vowed never again and I've bought used and paid cash ever since.

The payment on the S2000 was $500; when I paid it off I started putting that $500/mo in the bank. Since I'm not used to spending the money every month, the next car payment won't require an adjustment in lifestyle. And Wall Street hasn't found a way, yet, to lose the money in my savings account.

But I'm hoping to hold out 9 more years without buying a car.

Dude or should I say Studley - you don't think you're paying for you POS' however, you are paying in your own little way now aren't you????

NL loves the truck!! Good thing you have a bench seat in that puppy. Just think if you had bucket seats she would be forced to keep her distance. Now we know the real reason why you sold the Prelude.
