Ok choices should have everyone covered. In another thread today a couple people stated what their car payment is and was. I was floored maybe im just out of touch with reality. Take the poll lets see what car payments are today!


FTR Ive never paid more than $250 a month for a car and I found that

 

$514 Car payment! - Refinancing as soon as I get my bill tho!!!

I went from no car payment to a huge car payment. wasn't tooo smart :\

I had a car payment once and I hated it, vowed never again and I've bought used and paid cash ever since.

 

$589/month for my S, little more than 18 months left and then it's ALL MINE!

The payment on the S2000 was $500; when I paid it off I started putting that $500/mo in the bank. Since I'm not used to spending the money every month, the next car payment won't require an adjustment in lifestyle. And Wall Street hasn't found a way, yet, to lose the money in my savings account.

But I'm hoping to hold out 9 more years without buying a car.
