Default car vandalized, help.

Hello all, been a long time since I've visted here. Anyway lots to catch up but for now I need some help. My storage unit was broken into back in november I discovered unlocked at the end of dec. I lost over $16,000 worth of stuff and oj top of that they, hurt my s2k. I had the car off the road so its all my loss, the hood was open so I was hoping someone with some knowledge of the engine can pull off my valve cover so I can be sure nothing was tampered or put in there before I start it and get it out of there. Detectives are done fingerprinting with no luck. Willing to pay someone to come down to help. Car is in taunton. Pics here http://www.vtecho.com/stolen
I've been so depressed about it and have not had the motivation to do anything yet.

Man that sucks, sorry to hear.

Can you sue the storage company? Sorry I have never rented one
so I don't know if they say they aren't responsible for anything, although
that would be my guess.

Sorry to hear that man, that's just mean.

I think I'd pull the dipstick first and check for proper fluids.
I might even jack it up and change the oil to make sure nothing nasty was added.

That sux about the insurance. I guess it's the same thing even if the car is in your garage at home. Homeowners insurance will not cover any vehicle that is insurable otherwise. So, if it gets stolen out of your home or the house burns down, the car is a total loss unless you keep coverage on it even in winter.

One more reason to drive it all year long

Wow that is ****cced up! I am sorry to hear that. You could pull the valve cover but your best bet would be to just change the oil!

Im sorry for you bro, that is really heartbreaking. I would change the oil, check the radiator for proper fluid before starting it. Also was you fuel door still shut? If it was open than ther eis a chance something was dumped in the fuel. If it was closed I would venture that is ok.

Good luck to you.
