Dec/Jan/Feb futures for wholesale home heating oil are under $3.00 a gallon.

OPEC is cutting production 520,000 BBL day, but this should only slow the decline.

Home heating oil is 3.599 100 gallon minimum COD here in NH. Lowest
price that I have been able to find anywhere.

I'm going to hold out as long as I can before doing the first fill-up in
preparation for winter.

I think that is what is driving down the price.
Everyone is waiting until they have to buy.
Contracts weren't real attractive this year.

I can only hope it goes under 3 bucks a gallon. I would be happy if it stays where it is all winter, and doesn't go up, (insert smiley that can cross fingers here)

I wouldn't mind that myself but I don't believe that it will ever get below $3
and you know they'll use winter as an excuse to jack up the prices.
