Default Clemens

One thing about this whole thing that keeps coming back to me. Why would McNamee lie? Just about all of the athletes he mentioned, have come forward with some type of confession of using illegal performance drugs, including Petite who worked out with Clemens and McNamee for many years. What does McNamee have to gain by mentioning Clemens? Nothing that I can see. If he's lying, he goes to jail. It doesn't make sense to me that he's not telling the truth. Just curious what others thought.

Isn't ironic that the best pitcher and hitter of our (at least my) generation are being questioned about steroid use? The only difference between Bonds and Clemens, is Bonds still has his trainer on his payroll

It's just another example of Clemens' arrogance.

If Pete tells the truth about his gambling back when he was first suspected. He'd be in the hall o' fame many years ago. It's too bad his arrogance may cost him possibly ever getting in ........one of the all time greatest hitters.

I, for one, am glad to see that apparently our country is not facing any pressing business, allowing lawmakers to get themselves involved in the Clemens thing. MORONS!
