Thumbs up Comptech Exhaust Install Help Needed

Fortunately I have a new Comptech exhaust coming this coming weekend. It was part of hardtopguys GB.

Unfortunately I have no metric tools, no jack stands, no lift, and worst of all ... no know-how on this.

Is there any one in the Wrentham / Foxboro / Woonsocket part of the state(s) that could lend a hand, & their tools, and know-how to do this with me?

I'm hoping this can be pulled off Saturday (8/28) or Sunday (8/29)? I've heard its only about 1/2/ - 1 hour to do. I'm headed out for a road trip on Tues 8/31 with the S and wanted to see if I could install this bad boy before I leave.

Leaving for Outer Banks (NC) in 5 hours. Will check to see if anyone is willing to lend a hand when I get back Fri nite. Oh, wait ... I leave in 5 hours and haven't been to bed yet. Good thing the pilot is doing the "driving".

Come to the Rally on Sunday and Steve and I will agree to put it on in my garage, maybe Saturday morning or something. What do you think Steve?

don't forget to bring spray silicone to help getting the rubber hanger things off. those were the hardest to remove

Installed mine in less then 2 hours. This is not a big deal, the best advice was the silicone spray. The biggest issue is usally based on getting the rusted bolts off. I would suggest a little pre-spray on the nuts and if all else fails the torch.
Good luck,, it will be worth the effort the Comptech sounds is great.

Bass / Legal Bill,

Saturday sounds great to me. Thanks for the help. What time works for ya'll.

Steve, can we meet up and drive over to Legal Bill's so I can follow you?

I definitely need to do a little thinking on how to transport the exhaust there and back.

jtpassat,
Thanks for the recommendation on the spray for getting the rust off my nuts
