Default Crashed my S

Car spun out and hit a parked car head on, front bumper is pushed back both air bags went off. I am okay, no collision coverage. Is the comprehensive cover the black ice, anyone knows?

OH NOOO sorry hear that but I'm glad you're alright!

Yea that's a good question about the black ice thing. I'm sure most of the people who are going to reply are going to say call your insurance and find out.

Major suxor! Sorry to hear but glad no one was hurt. Hopefully everything works out.

My wife and I were out last night and that was my big fear with all the rain, shift in temp and we would be driving on ice very quickly.

Glad you are OK!

I'm not sure where you are located.

If you are in MA, comprehensive doesn't cover this, collision does.

Unfortunately, on a single vehicle accident, you likely will get a surcharge. Even if they are not paying your damages, they will pay damages for the vehicle you hit. BUT, if the weather was nasty, icy, and lots of accidents, it's worth filing for a hearing if you get a surcharge.

My daughter in law got her surcharge reversed when she had an accident on a very snowy icy New Year's morning.

I have an AP1 bumper for sale id let go fairly cheap if you are paying out of pocket for repairs.
