Hop on it Scott! I will send you some coin for your time. My car is up in the air with the calipers curing as we speak. I still need new rubber before I get her on the road so I definitely could use the decals and cover them with clear before she gets out for the first time.

Sucked it up and ordered new guide sleeves for the front brakes so they will look nice.(besides I broke one)

Oh and I just pulled the spark plug out of #2 after having re-torqued it to 22 fp and it didn't pull the insert out with it so it must have seated itself hopefully permanently now.

AP2 tips installed. Had to chop the end of the pipes so they would sit correct distance out. 1.5" seemed to be perfect.

Next up new rubber for all 4 tires. I am coming to the end of my winter projects. Soon to enjoy the summer top down fun.

Going to also try and put the top try back into it's correct position as it's never been the same after my soft top was replaced. Should prove to be a contorting adventure.

Anyone else doing work on their cars still in prep for summer? Next year will likely be CR suspension and possibly replacing bushings if I can get them inspected at a Tech Day this year.

I think I might have to host a Tech Day here this summer.

Almost finished all my planned work for my S. Yesterday with Mongo84 and Dibi was the Harddog install. Last few things is tires, oil change, and brake fluid swap!

Jim, I need a new softtop, but I'm not sure that's a job I'd ever try on my own. I've just been living with the holes (and probably will continue to do so). If you think you'd like to do a top replacement, I'd be game to try it, but only if folks are willing to help. Keep me posted; I think a tech day would be fun.

My top is fine. I replaced it already but if you watch the boards there is a guy that's traveling around doing tops. It's SoftTopGuy on Facebook I forget his screen name here but just did an event in NY.

If I needed it ever done again he would be my first(and only) call.

These went on the other day. Very nice!!! Spraying clear over them.

Due to budgetary constraints I decided to wrap my wheels with Hankook V12's vs. Star Specs. Will try and get 255 wide on the rear to help with better grip. Not sure about upping to 225 in front too.
7" and 8" wide rears. Many times put 255's on the rears with other brands.

Jim, FYI I tried 255s with my 17" GC-06 (?) Prodrive wheels. They rubbed when I hit a corner with any gusto.

I can't recall the offset on my wheels, but make sure they're more (or less, I can't remember how it works) than I have or you'll need to roll your fenders. I was unwilling to do that and I've stayed with 245s ever since.

Hope the Hankooks work out. I've been really happy with my Falkens for summer rubber. They say they're "luxury sport" or something like that, but they have more than enough grip to get you in trouble

I have run(17's with a 45 offset with 255's in S-02's(no rub), Falcon Azenis' (slightest rub on turn with bump). So I have dealt with it before but I might change the alignment with a tiny bit extra camber to help tuck the rears.

Also been kicking around the idea of getting new springs.(Swift Spec-R to be exact) They lower the car a little but are (70%)stiffer though are well engineered to not be bouncy/jarring. This would eventually be paired with CR struts. That would really help with the bump rub.

I liked my Falcon's but wanted to switch to something else.

I ran 255 with a +63 offset on a 9" wheel to give you a idea .
