Smile DAMN!

I'm always so careful, but I did it! I curbed the passenger rear wheel. Two scrapes. Not really bad, but bad enough. Is there anyone that might no somebody that can refinish wheels? I'd rather do that then spend $500.00 on a new wheel. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

I did the same thing last summer to the same wheel (18"x9.5" SSR Gt3) Its sucks, and hurts more when you have the radio lowered and hear the scraping!

I went to a local place here in CT simply called "the Wheel Shop" they did a great job, wheels is like new again. They first tested the wheel to make sure it was straight, then they can accept it and repair it. I dropped mine off in late Feb early March. At that time the owner/operator stated that i was dropping the wheel off at a good time and that he was starting to feel the "spring rush" as customers were starting to bury him with more to be done in time by the spring.

If you cant find a local place nearby you, This place is worth it! im sure you can ship or drop-off your wheel.

The Wheel Shop - Located in Windsor Locks near Bradley Airport

Did you have some drinks that day/night?

It happened to my Passat after a night of partying. I did not have much to drink but it totally impaired my ability to parallel park.

call your local dealer, ask them if they can do the wheels, we use a guy like that, does a really good job too, if a dealer does a lot of used cars, they should have someone like that

Rim Pro they refinished my NSX wheels, great work.

Hey George,

Still have the "S", but still trying to sell it. Have it marked down to $26,500. It only has 7500 miles on it if you know someone that might be interested?

If I still have it in July...you'll probably see me in the GMT for at least the second day! Even if I don't have it, I'll probably show up on my motorcycle and say hello at the top of "17"!

Hope to see you all soon!

Josh

I may have found a place here in Vermont if you can believe that. The place is called Wheel Wizard. I guess they do great work. I'll stop up and see what they can do. If not, then I'll definately check out rimpro. How much do they charge on average?
