I am sorry to hear, but now you'll be in a better pain-free place.

We should all give Dana a 9K RPM salute next time your in your S. He will hear it and know it was in tribute to him.

You hung strong through it and gave hope to us all.

My heart goes out to his family for thier loss.

Just when I think I'm ready to write something eloquent reality takes over, memories come flooding back, and I sit in front of the keyboard dumbfounded. Dana was a good friend to us all...maybe I'm remembering things through rose colored glasses, but I cannot recall a single time Dana badmouthed someone (Derrick doesn't count, we ALL badmouth HIM ). He just didn't have a mean bone in his body. I can remember him leaving his house wide open for several of us to use (and ransack?) while he was away on a short vacation...who ELSE do we know who would do such a thing? (and using Derrick's stuff when he didn't know about it doesn't count )

Dana, wherever you are...you will be missed, but not forgotten!

Godspeed Dana.

I know I speak for more than just myself when I say that you were the kind of person we all wished we could be. You faced death with courage and unwaivering spirit. You are an inspiration to us all.
I just changed the licence plate on my Auto Art White and Red S2000 model to DANA......
I know Dana would want us all to get together and have a big party to celebrate his life. Maybe in a week or two we can plan something.

My families prayers and thoughts are with you Dana.

Proud to have been your friend.

Ted

Dana, you have brightened all our lives with your most sincere friendship; your courage through hardship; your passion for life; and, of course, your unforgettable smile. Fond memories of you will be carried with us forever. May you rest in peace in care of God.

Your dear friend,

-Ben

I did not know Dana, but given the notes here Dana must have been special.

For Dana's friends and family I want to share a verse that was given to me when I lost someone close. I carry the card with me and found great comfort in what it said.

"Death is that state in which one lives in the memory of others..... That is why it is not an End...."

"May your memories of Dana be but a new begining for him, as well as for yourselves"

Jim
