You know, I think we should have a "detail-off" just like those Chili cook-offs!

Steve and Dimitriy can both work on cars at the same time while talking trash to each other from across the garage. The rest of us can eat chili while they bust their ass

IN. I say we video tape it and send it to FOX as a new reality show.

It was Ultimate Compound with Uber Green Polishing Pad (correction: it was ORANGE pad not green.). Followed by Blue Final Polishing pad and Meguair's 205 Finishing Polish. Also used a Sun Gun to make sure results after each pass were good.

Erick seemed happy, so was I for my first black car detail. No swirls. Well bumpers had slight swirls since we rushed them.

Anyways I am down for a Reality show so I can make some money some how.

Nah jk would let Steve do the detailing he seems serrious about it. I just did it out of good will since Erick helped me with my 2009 new Suspension installation.

erick's car came out great just wondering what you used

i use UC with a green pad to but i haven't followed up with 205 so we kind of have the same routine

uc geen pad- nxt white pad - autoglym hd by hand

on jeff's we just did UC topped with Autoglym HD and it came out great

sun gun i'd go nuts seeing everything with that - i shoot for 85% better and we got that on Jeff's BB

Steve, I hate to say it. but the compound you used this time was way better than what you used last time. I know you love that stuff but I can see WAY less swirls this time than after we did it last summer.
