*shrugs* Turtle wax compound. I have the polishing and rubbing and both are really harsh compared to UC. Never even used them after the first time. You can have them for free if you want Steve.

I really see a difference Steve. I was looking at it in the high sun yesterday and I really struggled to find a mark. Maybe your technique has gotten better too. whatever it is... BIG

Steve, UC was used with ORANGE Medium Polishing pad and not the green. Sorry for confusion. After that I followed up with Uber Blue Finishing Pad and 205.

I knew I messed some up.

that's where we differ i used the green edge pad with the UC which i think is the aggressive pad

oh and my new thing is wipe the car down with ipa and water 50/50 after the UC and then finish by wiping the car down with a ice cold water soaked MF and finish with some qd to at the very end to ensure that there is no streaking with the carnuba (only see this on dark cars)

and who knows jeff could have been the pad, products, weather, the thought of burgers when done or maybe we just got lucky this time

i kind of feel lost as there are none to do next weekend - Maybe Ryan will come up and we can do his or i'll just keep stacking wood

Lol. 205 is finishing polish,

D151 is Heavy duty Cleaner/Wax. I use it on wheels, lights and other spots I want to bring back from the dead but don't want to do multiple steps. Works great in wiper arms that no longer shiny black. Some D151 and brand new and protected.
