Up in the stickies is a thread with an owner location map. Maybe I just don't know how to use it, but it does not seem to tell you who lives at the locations. I was thinking about unpinning it, but I figured I should ask if any of you use it. If so, what do you use it for?

 

I've looked at it when someone mentions that it's there. Can't say I've ever used it.

 

I looked at it when I first joined to see if anyone was near me. No names though, I guess not everyone wants people to know where they are

most times the loca is listed next to the users name so i use that

 

You mean in the body of thread thread itself? Or the location under people's avatars?

 

It's nice to be able to see if there are other people near you when you first come to the forum. And it seems like alot of people do NOT put their location in the info to the left.
