Default Does Zaino contain silicone?

Max has told me that my car has silicone on it..!!
and my local bodyshop told Ben the same thing..
however, I have never used any wax/polish other than Zaino..!!
on Z2, it says Z2 does not contain silicone oil...but, it doesn't say it on Z1/Z5/ZFX...
so, what do you guys think??

A simple phone call to Zaino Bros. would of solved the mystery of how to strip the Zaino off the car. It's not a hard procedure. BUT... with all of that Silicon spray you use on your engine... it highly could of of went to the roof.

The Zaino wasn't fully stripped off then.

Next time... and I will be recommending this as well... ask the painter/bodyshop to contact Zaino on how to remove the polish properly.

No need for a PM

I was told by Zaino that Rubbing Alcohol will do the job. How much or what type of applicator... I'm not sure. But I went through this as well when I tried to have the "Chip Wizard" guys fix the chips on the front of my car. They used all types of solvents to remove it... and they couldn't... their comment was... "That is some wax! Paint doesn't stick, and it's definitely doing it's job."

I STILL recommend having the painter/bodyshop give Zaino a call... especially if they are having problems.

TO EVERYONE ELSE... Weather or not you have Zaino or any other type of Wax or Polish on your car. You should let them know what you use

So, if you really want to Zaino your car right, start with a Rubbing Alcohol wash, then Z1, Then Z2....

One other item you could do before applying Z1 is to use the Clay Bar also.

Just my two cents

derrick i said that that crap was under your hood the most.
the junk you spray on the motor the wax on the outside comes right off with precleaner i was bitching because every time i touched your car i had to wash my hands so that i wouldn't contaminate your already cleaned hood..

Ummm...Max. I think it has to do w/ the time when derrick's engine caught on fire and we - with a sudden stroke of genius in time of extreme desperation - all P'ed on it to put it out. Sorry to hear you had to handle it.
