From what I understand, the show is over if they keep the heavy presence they are doing now.
After attending the dragon, an speaking to alot of people who have been there many times, there is no other road that compares to it anywhere. Someone tried to say that the mohawk was like the dragon once

You can come to my road , it is like the dragon once you get past my house . But it is pretty scary as there might be just enough room for 2 cars .

We have plenty of roads up here that compare to the dragon without having to drive 12hrs

"A nice mix of twisties and sweeping turns with great scenery and plenty of overlooks to pull over for breaks or pictures."
A nice touring road with great scenery. Definitely not a twisty driving road with 29 curves per mile.

It was like a public race track. Perfectly banked roads, no cracks or pot holes AT ALL, hairpins, no more than 100 yards of straight road for 11 miles, no intersections businesses or homes. I was very sceptical before going on how much better than a regular road this could be. Once I got there, I realized that it was no ordinary road. The S was made for that type of driving. It makes the most twisty "fun" road around here seem like an interstate.
I am very sad that it seems as though it will never be the same going down there again. I was looking froward to the next trip since the moment we left this past April
