We have plenty of roads up here that compare to the dragon without having to drive 12hrs

And no the Kangamangus is not one of them ............ thats like driving the Mohawk trail to me .
I'd be interested in driving some of these roads Summer is over in another month or 2 and i'm trying to get all the seat time i can. I know a few of us RI and CT guys would make the trek up to NH if you can put something together.

The difference between any roads up here or anywhere else, besides the obvious like nicer banking and pavement, is that you could just drive absolutely balls out for the entire 11 miles. Right on the edge of your abilities! No "spirited" drive on another road can compare with a pass on the dragon.

Who knows KEv. I am hoping it is a temporary tactic by the THP that they have no intention of maintaining. However, even if it is only every now and then that they do this heavy enforcement, it will be quite a gamble to book rooms and drive 16 hours just to find out the dragon is packed with cruisers.

Look on the bright side Kev, maybe it was for the better. Maybe if you would have went to the dragin you would have driven off a cliff, so crashing on Thanksgiving saved your life!!!

Here you guys go , here is a short list or roads the bike guys use . When I drive I pay no attention to what rd I am on so I could not tell ya where I was .

The other cool thing with driving NH is there are tons of cool things to do and see .

For those of us who's never been on the Dragon and seems won't ever now, can someone who's been describe what exactly is so special about it?
Think of it as a 11 mile track with autocross-like tight turns and no run-off

The dragon was on our list of possible trips next spring. Not for an organized gathering, just to check it our, on our own, during mid week. We'd head there taking in other sights along the way, taking our time.

After seeing pics of Nova Scotia, I think we may have a touch choice of what to do as far as road trips go next year.
