Driving in CT?
thats good technology if you ask me.... will cut down on stolen cars and such, because they can scan the plates easily and find out if its stolen or not.. 
edit: lemme rephrase that... the technology is a good idea.. the fact that it can id cars that were stolen, but the way they are using it isnt right.. they shouldnt be able to scan eveysingle car for no reason... its almost an invasion of privacy if you think about it.. they scan your car for no reason

Although this technology makes me uneasy, in reality it automates a process that can also be done by hand. Instead of the scanner, a cop could just type in the tag number and accomplish the same thing. So really, this isn't a big deal, espescially if you pay your taxes, child support, tickets, or don't steal cars.
Fastlane/EZpass worries me though, I'm sure one day they will issue speeding tickets based on those systems.
