I know the Tim Horton's are busy places too.

We have a local doughnut shop that has been in business for years. Always crowded.

I make DD at home. buy the beans and grind them myself.
as for their donuts, they're pretty good if you're into 3 day old donuts....

I thought all the Tim Hortons in the northeast closed. They purchased all the Bess Eaton's from the previous family owners and did so horribly that closing their locations made the company look better. Bess Eaton was a tough act to follow. New ownership purchased rights to the name and recipes and it is exactly like they used to taste when they closed in 2001. Expect a big comeback

You could be right. I'm not a coffee donut person so I'm had forgotten the Tim Horton's issue.

Doesn't that get expensive though? I always try to bring my own breakfast, bagels from the supermarket are usually cheaper and you can buy alot at once.

Thats probobly $4.50 a day after tax I bet.

so if we do math, thats $22.50 a week, or $90 a month! thats a big bill for breakfast haha.

Once I did the math myself on my breakfast endeavors like this, it really made me re-think my morning breakfast stop.

Now i do 99 cent cumby's coffee, and I buy 8-packs of quaker oatmeal at grocery stores for 3 bucks.

It does get $$$$$$$$$. Years ago Rick's place used to send out for DD's coffee twice a day. It adds up. He was also a smoker at the time. He quit smoking and decided to quit DD coffee too. Too much $$. We should be rich by now, but we're not.

Guess I have to be a jerk and say that coffee is an expense covered by the company I work for. I pay for the coffee on my own and get reimbursed by the end of the week.

Don't see why that would make you a jerk? We have a coffee pot in our back shop. Boss buys the supplies. It's nothing special, but most of the guys take advantage of the free coffee, however one guy often shows up with a store coffee in the AM. Of course it's the guy who never has any money.
