I was THIS close to taking that thing for a one way ride.
Speaking of that.... When I was with my last gf she spent a few weeks on the West coast with her mom in the meantime I took care of the dog. The dog must have been stressed out or something and starting leaving globs of liquid poo all over my house for the next two weeks until she got back. Nothing sucks more than coming back from work and having to clean up pools of liquid poo. I would take vomit over it any day.

I prefer carpet but I may upgrade from linoleum in the kitchen and
bathroom to tile as well as do new carpet one of these days.

myself Im putting in the final hardwood floor in my house on thursday. This time its bamboo.

We have a different style of hardwood in all the rooms now and the studio downstairs has a hardwood laminate as it is below grade and on concrete.

good choice. putting bamboo floors in the basement office i'm constructing and putting the finishing touches on. getting kicked out of my current office as it's becoming a nursery very soon!

My sis just put a hickory floor down. Real nice contrast in the wood.

We have oak hardwood through out the house (tile in kitchen and bath). I hope I never have to deal with wall to wall carpeting again.

The carpet never holds up well. With wood floors and area rugs, when the carpet looks lousy, you roll it up, toss it out, and get a new one.

I don't see the point of getting hardwood floors then covering them
with carpets.
