Hey guys

got an e-mail from Grove - asking if anyone here has done business with Elda - i explained that i haven't but Chris and a few other have with great sucess -

Grove NEEDS a roll bar so that he can race his S and he was told to call back in Dec however Elda's phone is not in service now

anyone have any info regarding Elda - I know grove sent his Mugen roll bar back because he wanted to go with Elda but he doesn't know what to do now

I thought he has a Mugen rollbar coming in???

 

He did. He canceled the order. He needs/wants a rollbar that is SCCA approved.

 

he did however since the Elda one was a bit less expensive he wanted to go that route - and i beleive he sent his Mugen one back because Elda said "no problem call in Dec"

 

Crazy... I think someone in florida is selling a Cusco one but I think its a full rollcage style though.

 

We already selected a new manufacturer for the new run of roll bars, their numbers came in and they're good. This bar will be a new version with some slight differences making installation a little easier, the form has not changed, just the tolerences. This new manufacturer is 6 folds larger than the previous and has the most up to date tooling in the US.

We intend to sign the contract with them this week and expect deliveries in 6 weeks from then. We're negociating with the biggest track advocates on S2ki for marketing. Expect more news and pricing updates soon.

The bar unfortunetly must increase in price slightly due to increased price of materials and all other services required to complete the parts now, such as transportation costs...etc. However we will try to keep the increase between 5-10%.

The first 10 or so bars might be discounted some to get the product moving quickly. All this will be handled by the party we're negociating with. You will always be able to purchase directly from us and have your bar professionally installed at our shop in Connecticut. We will still work hard in helping anyone ourside the Northeast to find an installation facility.

That's all for now...as to the phone, I forgot to pay the bill...its on now.
