Nimbus - nice track picture! Any plans for Laguna? I would SO love to go but Vermont is a LONG way
My next planned Laguna event is in November. LS is a great track, it's everything as it's advertised to be. My avatar you see is from the famous "corkscrew". I do miss NHIS though, I'm very curious of the times I can pull in my current S2000 at NHIS. Too bad there are so few "time attack" or "time trial" events on the east coast unlike on the west coast.

Aaron , How would you feel piloting a 400whp Miata in a time attack ?

At the planning stages now , if all goes well should have it done this summer

I'm glad that I bought the S2000 in all its "raw sports car" glory!

It looks like Herbie the Love Bug mated with a 350Z

Which time attack event are you preparing for? I'd be honored to drive for you.

IMO it doesn't look very Hondaish, more VW or even I dare say American.

For me, I am not going to worry about it. I love my '06 and if the '09 appeals to me when it comes out, then we will see.
Right now this is all speculation, so no sense in being negative until the shoe drops.

The ultimate raw S2000 is actually the 2000 and 2001 model, though

NO this is not a joke, the end of the S2000 has been announced and now published. June 07' magazine issues are backing up the claims (example Road & Track). 08' will be the last run of the s2000, released this September. It will be replaced by what is currently being called the Honda S800. A more refined and civilized drop top to either come out or be unveiled in 09.
I see this as good news! Our cars will retain their resale value better. And I won't have to spend money buying the new model
