JT and I will be heading down non-stop after work on Thursday night. That should place us at the hotel *early* Friday morning.

 

Oh, so you guys aren't going to bethere on Thursday night? I was under the impression you guys were heading down then so you would be rested on Friday.

 

Nope, I've only taken Friday off so far. After a decent nap, I should be plenty rested when most people show up.

 

I will probably be doing the same I guess. What time can you check in though. I was considering leaving around 4am and getting there around noon. If I could take a nap as soona s I get there, it would work out great.

 

I believe check-in is at 3pm. I assume you'll still need to pay for Thursday at the hotel.

Just saw this one... for this coming down late Friday afternoon, be prepared for traffic near Baltimore and D.C. If you thought Boston traffic was bad, D.C. has you covered like a jimmy hat. 295 and 95 are literal parking lots heading away from the cities. Plan to be through and past D.C. by 3ish if you want to avoid letting your car idle in one place for 5 minutes at a time.

 

thanks for the heads up Dan. I plan on leaving Thursday night around 7-8 PM and driving through the night. I will be at the hotel well before morning rush hour begins.
