Default Fall fluids date.

I want to host a diff oil change day. I need mine done, and I know some of you need to swap out the LE607 before it starts to get cold. We could do some other tech things too (oil change, tranny, as well as wash and detail. I wanted to do this before the Mohawk ride.

I've got a two space garage, and I'm pretty central. If anyone has been to Darkknight's parents, I'm only about 5 minutes froom there. Check out Gilbert's member map.

Anyone interested?

I like this idea as well. I actually need to do my first engine oil change since owning the car, and I'm thinking of putting in the Fumoto valve. Any opinions?

Question, can I leave the LE607 in (since I just put it in) if I put the car away for storage?

hey chris

i had the drain valve in my last s and it worked fine BUT don't over tighten it or you'll snap it - i plan to install the fram sure drain on mine as it does the same thing but it's less expensive

Luke - if you don't drive the car when it's below 40 than i don't see why le607 would be an issue

Sounds good. I actually haven't gotten the Fumoto yet. I didn't realize Fram had a cheaper one. Do you know of anywhere where I could get either before this weekend, if that ends up being when we get together?

Also, I'm diff fluid ignorant as of now... what's good stuff for a daily driver this winter?

I would be intersted seeing that I am ignorant in all things mechanical so it couldnt hurt to learn something, and I cant find a closer S owner than Jeff.

I just wouldnt be able to make it on any Pats home game, and if its an away game, it must be available for viewing for me to leave the house.

Great Idea, but I might not be able to drive up there for this. I was just thinking of changing out the Motor/Diff/Trans right before I put it away for the winter.
