Congress is currently considerring a bill that would require ESC (electronic stability control) on all cars sold in the USA. If that passes, sports cars without it will be slightly more desireable to enthusiasts.

Also, word is the next S is going to be loaded up with the electonic doo dads and even an optional Automatic tranny since the current S didn't cater to a broad enough customer base...

Oh boy, if it were that easy. Lexus has been getting blasted by the Auto rags for their systems which is only defeatable by one of those "push radio knob on 3 times, tap the brake pedal 8 times, honk the horn, turn the blinker left and right, stick your head out the window and scream at the top of your lungs and call your car names... kind of stuff"

Gawd, I hope these future systems can be switched off by a simple button...

2002 is the best year! They will be the only ones with any collector value.

Everyone stop all this high resale value talk. I am starting a movement (temporarily) which will lead the world to believe the cars will be worthless in a few years. That way I can get a good deal on an 02 Berlina. Then of course I will tell everyone I was full of crap and the values will shoot up so everyone just play along.
