Hey, where's Erick/Matt (elmmx5)? Did he crash his office computer system over the weekend?

You in Erick? You don't have to eat beef. Scallops are good in our area.

Oh I'm here.... just recovering from the last few weeks or so of actual work I've been performing at my place of employment. I'm just not used to it, I look forward to returning to collecting a paycheck for just being present in the near future.

If I'm available I'd be interested. The only complication is... I might be, "Wicked Pissa Cocked" after bottling some homebrew that day. I know the early part of that day is tied up with finishing what I started making 2 weeks ago, and an afternoon of free beer and a bunch of friends isn't usually a good sign for me.

You guys need one of two things:

1 . switch to diet Coke which will solve a lot of your problems.

or

2. find a permanent woman to be your designated driver. Then you can go anywhere, anytime, drink beer AND get home safely.

Since Rick does not care to go the Diet Coke route, we have an arrangement. I drive if he and Sam Adams get too cozy. I get to make our house as girlie as I want as he does not care/notice. Also sometimes I get to drive the "S" just because I like to, and as we found out this weekend , part of the deal is he doesn't when I hurt the "S"

Of course there are other benefits, but we can't discuss them on the internet.

By the way, Erick, how long is that work vs internet surfing thing going to last?

Do you mean how much longer longer will I have to actually work at work? Hopefully it's over. The last few weeks were a lot of scrambling, and this weekend was the big switchover. With any luck.. the worst of it is over. Of course things never go as smoothly as hoped for, so I fear I have a little more work ahead of me.

As far as your two solutions go, I've already paid for massive amounts of beer this weekend so Diet Coke, while a decent beverage any other day, isn't going to be the drink of choice. Then there's permanent women... a great idea, but mythical creatures in my experience.

I have a very large bottle of scotch that needs to be imbibed. Perhaps I'll bring that along (and a sleeping bag ).
