Default Finally dinged Neb

Well, it finally happened.

After 10 years, 7 of which were daily drivers, a guy in Dunkin Donuts backed up into me and hit me in the passenger rear bumper. Broke my taillight lens.

What was amazing is my different perspective on life, 10 years later (almost to the day). I would've freaked in 2002 when the car was new. Today, I didn't even really care. The guy insisted on sending me money, so I told him to mail me $200. I was just not uptight about this.

Life is really interesting. It is so short, and stuff like this just doesn't matter.

Live it up; enjoy your car; don't sweat the small stuff.

I think I met you in the DD parking lot. Glad it wasn't me.

About 125K, Levi!

Yeah, it is what it is, guys. Like Lainey says, it can (and will) be fixed.

It's true, Neb is an "old bomber" now, but damned if I don't still love the car to death.

I was wondering if you were honking at me! I figured it was probably one of the s2ki crew, but wasn't sure!

Hi Charlie, sorry about the ding. Good attitude, as our builder use to say....it is what it is.

Do you have any relatives up here in the Portsmouth, NH area? I was behind a Ford something or other yesteday with a NH lisence plate that said CHAZMO......
