Hi Charlie, sorry about the ding. Good attitude, as our builder use to say....it is what it is.

Do you have any relatives up here in the Portsmouth, NH area? I was behind a Ford something or other yesteday with a NH lisence plate that said CHAZMO......

Damn, that's wild! I guess I have a twin up there!!

Many years ago, I played a gig in the North End of Boston. It was one of the Italian festivals that they hold in the summer, and lo and behold one of my fellow trumpeters had the plate "CHEZMO" It was surreal. This turned out to be derived from his last name, whereas mine was from my first.

It's a small world.

Good, Scott. Good! Having a big 50th blast for Karen next weekend. Time flies, my friend.

My best wishes to you, Scott.

Hopefully I'll get up there late summer or something to swing by. Is the shop still in Bow?

Hey Charlie, good to hear from you. Sorry about the ding. I'm not sure I'll ever sell mine. After 10 years I only have about 41K on it. At this rate it will be 20 years before I have 120K on it.

Hi Charlie, good to see you on the board. Sorry to hear about the ding. I too applaud your attitude toward the accident. I can relate your evolved perspective on cars. I enjoy cars just as you do, but ultimately they are just grown-up toys that can be repaired or replaced.

Ben, wait 'til you have kids. They'll "help you" with things like that.

Chaz,

Just read the post where you mentioned trumpet/gig.

Guess we have more in common than the car.

I can usually be found on sax or keyboards. Wew'll have to talk sometimes. I'm sure we have many mutual friends.

Good to hear from you guys.

Yes, the evolution of "life is short." It IS, people. It is!

Bill, I'm seriously starting to think about a new BRZ when the top gets chopped. My sister wants my S out in Colorado, and I've got a little bee in my bonnet over this one. First car out of Japan to strike my fancy since the S2000.

They've got the coupe version of the BRZ at the dealership a block from where I work in Maynard, and it's awfully nice. All the checkboxes (including a low price) except the big one... convertible!

41K????? HAH, that's awesome, Bill. Never let it go!

Jazz: check it out: http://www.telegram.com/article/2012...1189/coulter11 Yeah, that's me.
