I have been lucky with mine , but I dont spend countless hrs using it .

I have been known to rock out on Guitar Hero III though

Well, at least they extended the warrenty on it. You just have ot go without it for awhile. They had so many failures they put the effort into making it easy to ship it in for repair.

you have to hand it to Microsoft though.
they are so good at failure.
you don't get a err99 you get a blue screen of death or the burning ring of fire.
