So yea how do you guys feel about the new layout.

One criticism I can already make is that I wish the stickies had a different background color or something. In the old format, the stickies and regular threads were really easily differentiated from each other so then I can go to the FIRST NEW thread without too much scanning with my eyes.

As stated, it will take sometime getting used to so I haven't made my decision yet. As for speed, it does seem faster. I have already noticed that I'm hating the itouch/ droid layout. It is very difficult to navigate with a hand-held device.

 

Looks cheap and un-finished like a free online message board you can open by yourself. Maybe the upgrade is not complete because it is also ten times slower than it was before.

It would be great if in the end they would enable the feature where you can mouse over any topic title in a forum and a popup appears showing the first few lines of the first message. I like that because people often use irrelevant or vague titles for their threads and the mouse over feature allows you to get an idea of what the thread is really about. I would say just about every other forum I use has that feature. Why not s2ki?

 

Not a fan at all. I agree we need more contrast between things. I have not look yet to see if we can switch templates . But it should be a option

 

don't like the fact it no longer says when the tread was started. I think that is a downgrade...
