Damm, those comments on that site are pretty harsh! Sounds like a lot of jealous peeps down there in Mass.

I agree, but I DO remember putting down multiple early deposits for my S2K and getting dealership calls on the release day. At the time, we were all told that only 5,000 were being made. Total BS! I was quoted all the way the way up to 8K over MSRP.

I still bought my car for MSRP on 9/25/99.

No doubt, it has to be exciting for this guy. Nissan is claiming to only be importing 1500 GT-R's so the dealer prep is around $27K for a $73K automobile. Right!

someone in the del val region spotted one...

also...there was one driving in NY i believe...a red gt-r...that got spanked by a s2k

the article came out today, so would that make it the 3rd GT-R here?
