I'm thinking of buying that tom tom for $120 unless someone has something really bad to say about it?

I have no one to read maps for me this year and I can't expect Lainey to attend every meet I do just so I can follow her

Having a business in a brand new town and traveling to see customers now (no office to invite them to) this might be a business write off

The Nuvi 360 is tempting me for $229 at Beach Camera Id like a bigger screen but it seems to have everything else I wanted.

Not a bad idea Ellen. I'm not sure our Sunday return schedule from SF will be the same as yours. We may take a detour on the way home.....

Don't want you to get lost! These are great gadgets to have. Shug, that's a bargain!

Getting home is almost never a problem - except when mapquest sends me thru NYC Once I get on any major highway I can get home, its just getting TO places that seem to go wrong...

I get within a mile usually before I have any problems. I was SO impressed going to Erick's house, the directions were perfect!

I'm trying not to let this be an impulse buy so I am holding off another day or two. Offer is good until the 5th. Got my email with $20 coupon. Thanks for the info Shug

You will find most GPS are perfect on directions if they are current on software the big differences are the bells and whistles text, street names bluetooth etc. Myself i could care less for that stuff. I have a magellan I use it when needed and im happy with it than again i paid $49 for it. It does what i need and gets me where i need to go on the cheap

We have the Garmin nuvi 350 and totally love it.
For the record I give this too

I became a big fan of Lainey's GPS when we were sitting at a dead stop on I-95 at 10PM at night When Lainey started creeping over to the far lane I knew it would be a good bet to follow

The tomtom says it will connect via USB and I assume that will download new maps/info from their web site. I just need to remember to do that once in awhile... this unit does not have bluetooth but I really don't know if that's something I need/want.

Being that it's staples I should have a 2 week no questions asked return policy...

I ordered the tom tom today. I was NOT able to use the additional $20 hp/staples coupon. The coupon/email I got DOES say "on HP products" at staples. I do have an HP deskjet so I may order toner before the coupon expires.

$148 is still a good price for one of these I think. Specially since it went on the business amex

So remember, when I actually show up at meets now you have Shug to blame
