Actually it is interesting that Glenn's airbox has a peak resonance at 3000 rpm. Gives an interesting torque kick (172 ft-lb) down low but is still similar to the stock airbox at higher rpms.

I was actually referring to Giles's dyno. That rig is way cool.

I was trying to type this in the last post but I was re-routed to another site, possibly something my cursor passed over. What up with that?

I certainly can .... but it is up to the owner to do any gloating. We have still a long way to go before we can push it to it's limits at high rpm.

FYI: That is 19 more ft-lb torque than what his stock S2000 motor put out PEAK! And about 50+ more than at that same RPM.

Bear in mind that only a small bit of torque is coming from the intake airbox, the vast majority is coming from the higher engine compression and some precise tuning by Giles.

For the interested, 01 stock is ~115 ft-lb wheel torque at 3000 and an 04 is ~130 ft-lb.

Well, if you're comparing to stock... My S2000 peaked around 132 lb-ft on Giles' dyno at around 6500 RPM... Glenn's is way higher than that. Can't wait to see the final results after tuning.
